Rockford High School

VJA designed two large projects for Rockford schools, including additions to the existing high school and, on an adjacent site, a new elementary school. 

​

At Rockford High School, a community center addition provides a fitness room, a three-station gymnasium with a walking track, meeting rooms, and concession areas within the expanded lobby.

 

Additions also accommodated expanded administrative office space and six new          classrooms adjacent to a remodeled academic core.  Work included reconfigured science labs, classrooms, and the introduction of a large commons space.
